- The self-esteem of LGB people has increased significantly in recent years.
- By 2017, differences between LGB individuals and heterosexual individuals were barely noticeable.
- Social openness and legal equality go hand in hand with greater well-being.
Conclusion: Public debate and legal recognition not only strengthen the rights of stigmatized groups, but also their self-esteem.
