Research focus:

»Since 2021, I have been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Social Structure and Sociology of Ageing Societies. So far, I have been involved in both teaching and project work (IN-CARE). Since 2024, I have also been a scholarship holder in the Hans Böckler Foundation's doctoral programme "New Challenges of Ageing Societies" at TU Dortmund University. My doctoral topic deals with the life situation of older homo- and bisexual people with support needs in Germany, and how they differ from heterosexual people. The aim is, on the one hand, to generate insights into the different available resources and their significance for life satisfaction using a methodologically pluralistic approach and, on the other hand, to examine the suitability of life course theory concepts for older homo- or bisexual people and, if necessary, to expand them.«
