Carolin Kunz is a visiting scholar at Radboud University Nijmegen
In November and December, Carolin Kunz will be a visiting scholar at the Department of Sociology / ICS at Radboud University in Nijmegen.
Together with Ellen Verbakel and Klara Raiber, she is discussing the effects of informal caregiving on possible early retirement. They are analyzing data from the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE).
This research topic is highly relevant in terms of social policy and social inequality due to the increasing need for care in aging societies and the simultaneous increase in the age limit for standard retirement pensions.
