GeReAlt joint research project launched.
Due to the (future) retirement of the baby boom generation (born between 1950 and 1965) in combination with shortages of skilled workers, specialists and experts, research into the transition to retirement is of particular relevance. Health is one of the most important determinants for the transition to retirement and for life chances after retirement. GeReAlt has set itself the goal of analysing the relationship between retirement, health and other factors associated with social inequality.
Carolin Kunz and Martina Brandt (TU Dortmund University) and Rasmus Hoffmann (University of Bamberg) have successfully acquired the joint project as part of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs' funding guideline for the “Promotion of research and teaching in the field of social policy”.
We look forward to the collaboration and interesting results!
