Recap of our mixed methods workshop
On 31 January 2025, our Mixed Methods Workshop took place at TU Dortmund University as part of the Hans Böckler Stiftung's doctoral programme ‘New Challenges in Aging Societies’.
With 25 participants - including scholarship holders of the doctoral programme as well as doctoral candidates from the fields of sociology, educational research, and rehabilitation sciences - there was great interest in methodological diversity and interdisciplinary exchange. Mixed methods designs and challenges were discussed, empirical examples highlighted, and exciting research projects presented.
