Goodbye, Kempten!

Martina Brandt opened the program on Thursday afternoon with her keynote speech. Entitled "New challenges in ageing societies - changing care, well-being and participation", she gave a great impulse that underlined the relevance of our sociological perspective.
Later in the day, there was a joint session on the topic of "The burden of care and well-being of family caregivers". In this context, Klara Raiber (Radboud University Nijmegen) presented an international research cooperation in which Martina Brandt is involved. The joint contribution (with Ariane Bertogg, Martina Brandt and Ellen Verbakel) deals with the question: "Co- and Extra-residential Care and Perceived Caregiver Burden: Can the Gaps Be Explained By Care Intensity, Tasks And Motivations?".
A big thank you to the DGS Section Age(ing) and Society and the FA Age and Technology of the DGGG for the great organization!
