Society for Longitudinal and Lifecourse Studies (SLLS) Annual Conference 2026 in Brussels

Our department presented the latest research findings on key issues related to the life course and aging at the 2026 Annual Conference of the Society for Longitudinal and Lifecourse Studies (SLLS) in Brussels.

Robert Heidemann presented his current dissertation paper: "Functional Health and Depression in the Second Half of Life: The Moderating Role of Sexual Orientation in Germany."

Carolin Kunz presented new research findings on the topic: “Can Working Conditions Prevent Early Retirement of Informal Caregivers? Evidence from a Longitudinal Between–Within Analysis.” The study is part of the GeReAlt collaborative project and was conducted as part of an international collaboration with Klara Raiber and Ellen Verbakel.
