Results report of the pilot study "Health and Support in Times of Corona" now available
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the chair's team conducted a pilot study in early summer 2020 titled "Health and Support in Times of Corona." 458 individuals in middle and older adulthood participated in the survey. The team would like to thank everyone who participated in the survey!
Results show, among other things, that many individuals avoided medical or therapeutic services (e.g., doctor visits, physical therapy) during the first phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, that feelings of loneliness increased, and that informal social supports (e.g., help in the home, care for grandchildren) changed in many cases.
The results report is now available for download.
