We congratulate Judith Kaschowitz, who successfully defended her doctorate on July 10, 2020 and graduated with "summa cum laude".
In her doctoral thesis, Judith Kaschowitz investigated the effects of informal care on the health of family carers. In particular, she investigated the role of the household, migration and country context. To this end, she conducted empirical cross-sectional and longitudinal analyses using data from the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE). Her dissertation is entitled "Informal care as a health risk? The role of the household, migration and country context".
The dissertation was reviewed by Prof. Dr. Martina Brandt (TU Dortmund), Prof. Dr. Dirk Hofäcker (University of Duisburg-Essen) and Prof. Dr. Monika Reichert (TU Dortmund).
